The other night I was on my way back to the office to burn the midnight oil. At an intersection, I saw a young man standing on the corner, well he wasn't just standing, he was actually dancing! He looked like he was having the best time. He was holding a large sign that read, "Large 1 Topping Pizza
- $9.99" He is an employee of the local Dominoes Pizza, and was making the most of the job he had been given to do. So many times, we are asked to do things we consider "boring" or "mundane", but this young man reminded me that we should always put our everything into whatever job we have. As I drove by, I couldn't help but smile and be inspired (not to mention hungry for pizza). This season has been so tremendous. We couldn't be more appreciative, but at times it has been stressful, as well. Sweet Tea hostesses and reps are so amazing, and our customers so thoughtful and encouraging!! It all just makes me happy and thankful for every aspect of this business, even the "boring" and mundane" tasks like book keeping and paper work.
And this precious pic makes me smile as well. Girls just love to twirl! And even though this is not a "twirl" skirt, it has some definite "twirl appeal". Isn't she just beautiful? Keep the pics coming ladies we love them all!
Here's a little Mother's Day Contest for ya. Tell me what makes you smile. Simple, huh? You can either make a comment here on the blog, or you can send us an e-mail. Either way is fine with us. We'll pick a winner Tuesday, May 11th.
I'm out of here! Today is Lauren's 17th birthday, tomorrow is my 22nd anniversary, and Sunday is Mother's Day. Wow, what a packed weekend!!!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Watching my kids blow wishes ( dandelions), chase fireflies, and hearing them laugh while they play... the simple things in life make me the happiest :)

Waking up to the sound of sweet footprints running across the house to climb in bed with me in the morning! What is better than snuggling with your babies? Also, one of the biggest smiles I have had in a while was driving up to find a wonderful package of goodies that I purchased from Sweet Tea!! And, the best thing is that everything fit perfectly! My daughter had a huge smile too when she tried on all of her new outfits. I do believe that the twirl skirt was her favorite!

One thing that makes me smile is seeing one of my customers on the Sweet Tea blog looking so adorable in her new outfit! :)
The other thing that makes me smile without fail is my daughter Anna. Nothing matters once I see her sweet little face at the end of the day!
